Australia’s Outback Spectacular presents their new show ‘Heartland’. Come along and witness a heartwarming and immersive arena show with a three course meal and beverages throughout the show, incredible special effects, inspiring animal performances and a star-studded cast.
Set in the Australian Outback Spectacular’s iconic red barn, be transported to the outback with an all-new arena show featuring a cast of talented Australian actors and the latest technology that depicts farm life during a severe drought. Follow the true story of farmers Reg and Marge who are struggling to keep their farm going after 5 years without rain. The story depicts the real struggles of Australian farmers and life in the outback as told through humour, quirky characters and friendship set to the soundtrack of popular Australian country music. Using the latest projection technology and with the help of some incredibly talented horses and their riders, see the arena transform into a variety of harsh outback landscapes that give the illusion of rugged plains, green fields, red dust, rocky outcrops, stampeding cattle, fire and rain.
On the menu for the evening is a delicious three-course meal featuring a Woodfired Vegetable and Goat Feta Tart for entree, a main meal of Eye Fillet Steak or Tender Chicken Breast and a Dark Chocolate Flan with Chocolate Ganache and salted caramel sauce for dessert. Complimentary beer, wine and soft drinks are served throughout the show.

Tried to fit in too many elements which spoilt the show and food was not great
The pre-entertainment was a country singer in the Bazza bar. It should have worked but the guy could not sing in tune. It was terrible. Whilst I understand and agree with the message being portrayed in the show, it was slow, disjointed and NOT spectacular. Unsuccessfully trying too much to incorporate spectacular aerials from other more internationally professional companies and inserting random unrelated animal "tricks" just didn't work. Whilst the riders were very talented, the show had to decide whether they were going to tell a story or whether they were going to present a very professional demonstration of person/animal cohesion. They sort of tried to do both but failed. The food (steak) was like leather - preparing and presenting steak en masse is a huge challenge and the kitchen failed. Was looking forward to the show but sadly my wife and I were greatly disappointed. Sadly we would not recommend it to any of our friends.
Great show, food could be better and very $$, overall a good time.
Great show. Good atmosphere. My only real criticism is they need to update the menu for kids. My son who is autistic lost it because the chicken was on top of the mash, and to be fair, as a kid, I wouldn't have wanted to eat that. There was no one that came around for AGES so I couldn't ask for any help. Kids should be offered a bowl of chips or something. I also think the price is a bit high for what you get - entre is also very hit-and-miss. Sad about all the wasted food! The show itself was amazing however it sounded a little quiet and my boy was struggling to follow along because of that.
Wow! Amazing! A mast do when on the Gold Coast, this one is a non-negotiable!
Absolutely amazing, fantastic night! This couldn’t have been any more perfect! From the entry to the dinner to the actual show. Simply perfection and nothing I’ve ever experienced before! I could go every night I’m here! So awesome! I had a question about our tickets, contacted Experience Oz through chat and they had me answered and sorted in less than 5 minutes. Very happy with the customer service from Experience Oz!
