The Wanaka tandem skydiving experience includes a welcome and safety briefing before you take to the skies in the Cessna Caravan for a quick flight to altitude and jaw dropping views on your 25 second freefall down to earth. Marvel at the local beauty including Wanaka’s world renowned lakes, mountains and rivers as you float through the air at 200km per hour. We recommend that you also purchase the video and photo packages so you can share this experience with your family and friends.

- You take to the skies in the skydive plane, offering a comfortable, quick flight to altitude and maximum opportunity to take in the jaw-dropping views on the way up to your chosen skydive altitude
- 15-20 minutes of enjoying unrivalled and uninterrupted views of Wanaka’s world-renowned lakes and mountains, view up to six lakes, the South Island's longest river, The Clutha. And on a clear day, you may be able to see Mount Cook
- Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (closed Wednesday and Thursday)
- Allow 2.5hrs for the experience, self-drive to the dropzone located at Wanaka Airport
- Wear warm layers and flat enclosed shoes
- Please bring your booking confirmation voucher
- Please leave all your valuable belongings at home
- Please bring your ID and credit card for payments

- Maximum weight is 115kg. All persons over 94kg are subject to Tandem Master assessment at the drop zone.
- Minimum jump age is 6 years. Children 12 years & under will be permitted to skydive from a maximum height of 9,000ft
- The minimum weight is 30kgs/66lbs and minimum height is 1.2metres/47.2inches. All passengers must fit securely into the harness
- All children are subject to an assessment on the day by the Tandem Master. Passengers under 18 years require written parental/guardian consent
- Skydiving is a very weather dependant activity and cancellations due to unsuitable weather conditions may occur, full refunds will be given if this occurs
- Trip sizes will be 8 Pax (Winter) and 16 Pax (Summer)
- Check in the same time as the trip (The time you have selected to jump)
- Weather checks are to be done by the passenger 30 minutes prior to your skydive trip time, ie 8.30am for a 9am trip time. Please call our Reservations Team in 03 443 7207
- Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of your tour
- For your information, complete Tour Operator Information including contact details is included on your tour voucher
- Cancellations 24 hours prior to trip departure may be charged at full price
- In the event of weather conditions cancelling the trip, full refunds will be made or reschedule date offered

Amazing experience, value for money, straightforward booking process.
Skydiving in Wanaka has spectacular views of the Southern Alps. You can get picked up at Wanaka iSite to get to Skydive Wanaka. You sign a waiver and have the option of getting photo package add-ons. You are directed through the safety instructions and are put in proper safety wear. The overall experience was fun, relaxing and enjoyable. After landing, you are driven back to Skydive Wanaka and then have the option to be driven back to iSite Wanaka. The booking process via Experience Oz was straightforward.
