What you can expect
Get a taste of the flavours of Newtown and stumble upon some world-famous street art on this three-hour guided tour of Sydney's most vibrant and eclectic neighbourhood. Located just 10 minutes away from the city, Newtown is a bustling suburb filled with lots of character, plenty of things to see and unique things to do. You won't fail to find an awesome bar, a trendy craft brewery, cool thrift shops, galleries, eye-catching street art, stylish cafes and a plethora of restaurants offering all the cuisines of the world you could think of.
Starting from Newtown Station, you'll meet your guide who will give you a brief run down of Newtown's colourful history, culture, people and evolution. You'll then take to the streets like a local to sleuth out some of the very best food spots and most captivating murals in the neighbourhood. Savour the delicious flavours of 3-4 different cuisines and be inspired by the artistry and stories behind the creative masterpieces, before finishing the day off with a relaxed visit to a popular brewery for a shared tasting paddle or a glass of craft beer to enjoy with your fellow guests!

- Please try to be there 10 minutes early as this tour needs to start on time. If you are running more than 10 minutes late, aim for the back-up meeting location at 1a Brown St and send the operator a message (3:20pm arrival)
- This experience is 3 hours in duration
- The tour starts at the "I Have A Dream" mural at 301 King St, Newtown NSW 2042
- It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes as you will walk approximately two kilometres over three hours
- Wheelchair access is available and the route taken is quite flat.
- This experience runs in all weather conditions. If it is raining, please bring an umbrella or waterproof jacket. Tours never get cancelled because of rain and only if it is too dangerous to proceed with a tour.
- Minimum of four and maximum of 10 participants.
- Please advise of any dietary requirements at the time of booking
- Participants must be 18 years and over to enter the brewery at the end of the tour; photo ID may be required
- Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Reschedules or credits are available for all tours, subject to availability. Within 48 hours, reschedules or credits are at the discretion of the experience provider.
- Participant changes are allowed.
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience.
