What you need to know
- Please provide ALL passenger names and dietary requirements as well as email address and contact number for EACH passenger over the age of 18. This is mandatory for marine safety laws. Each passenger over the age of 18 years will be sent a waiver to complete to confirm the booking.
- Return transfers from Bundaberg on our luxury catamaran ‘Reef Empress’ or ‘Main Event’
- Light lunch of ham and chicken wraps (vegetarian and gluten free options available)
- Informative commentary while whale watching
- Whale viewing from upper decks and foredecks
- Selection of cold beverages, snacks and merchandise available for purchase
- Tours operate Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday from July - October
- Arrival time: 9:45am check-in
- This experience departs at 10am and returns at 2pm
- The duration of this experience is 4 hours
- This experience takes place in the Southern Great Barrier Reef and departs from the Bundaberg Port Marina on 15-17 Marina Drive, Burnett Heads.
- Warm clothing
- Water bottle (filtered water stations are available onboard to refill these from)
- Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses & protective rash shirt/sunshirt)
- Medications, mobility aids & inhalers where required seasickness medication (we recommend Travacalm)
- Tours are subject to weather conditions and minimum numbers
- In the event a tour cannot go ahead, guests will be contacted 24 – 48 hours prior and be given options to cancel or postpone
- Passengers must be willing to sign a waiver prior to travel which will be sent to your email address
- Change your booking up to 72 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 72 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
- Mobile Vouchers are accepted! Vouchers can also be presented on your mobile device for this attraction
