Located on New Zealand's North Island, the Wairoa River Grade 5 White Water Rafting experience is a thrilling adventure that will take you along stunning rock and tree lined gorge before gliding over turbulent rapids, adrenalin-pumping drops, and much more!

Located just 2 1/4 hours from Auckland, this whitewater experience is an amazing day trip to take with friends or family! The tour includes a complimentary pick up from Central Rotorua, a training brief, and a hot shower. A picnic lunch is also provided, meaning that all you need to bring with you is yourself, a swimsuit, and a towel!

All other necessary safety gear is provided, including safety helmets, lifejackets, wetsuits, polar fleece tops, spray jackets, as well as wetsuit booties.

  • Minimum age 13 years
  • Children as young as 10 may be carried but must be accompanied by an adult and are required to walk one small section of the trip.
  • Recommended minimum weight limit 40kg, Maximum 120kg.
  • Any pickup will be approximately one hour before the trip time
