What you can expect

Experience the majestic Southern Alps and rugged mountain landscapes on this full-day tour to Mt Cook from Queenstown. Aoraki Mount Cook National Park is home to New Zealand’s highest mountains and magnificent glaciers and this Mount Cook Experience will simply take your breath away.

Guests will travel in a premium Mercedes vehicle with panoramic windows to soak up the scenery throughout the journey. Along the way, stop at iconic South Island locations including Cromwell, Lake Pukaki and Omarama before arriving in Mount Cook Village for 3.5 hours of free time to spend as you please. This tour includes access to the Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre.

You may wish to take part in optional extra activities such as a heli hike or boat trip to see the Tasman Glacier or wander up the Hooker Valley Track for spectacular alpine views of Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. Ticking off all the highlights of the Southern Alps and High Country, guests will return to Queenstown after a full day of adventure.
