1.5 Hour Dirt Bike Experience

  • Experience an epic 1.5hr ride you'll never forget on 650a of terrain that climbs high above Queenstown and looks out over the Shotover River & Lake Wakatipu. From flowy trails to technical enduro sections, we guide to how you ride - from novice's with only road bike experience, to Graham Jarvis himself, we've got options to suit everyone. No motorcycle licence is required but competency on a motorcycle must be shown before taking part in the tour. Bike choices are subject to what our guides believe you'll have the most fun on - which isn't always a bigger bike.

1.5 Hour Learn to Ride Dirt Bike Experience

  • Learn how to ride with some of the worlds best instructors - our guides are competitive at the top level of every discipline & have a true passion for teaching. If you've got the confidence to give it a go, come find out why dirt bikes are the best! Inclusions Return transfers from the Off Road shop in Queenstown 1.5 hours of tailored dirt bike riding Selection of 4 stroke dirt bikes from 110cc-450cc MX helmets, boots, goggles, gloves, pants & riding top provided Unique & stunning scenery of Lake Wakatipu, Shotover River & surrounding gullies.

What you need to know

Inclusions

  • Choose from a range of 250cc 4-stroke dirt bikes
  • MX gear provided, including helmets, boots, goggles, gloves, pants, and a riding top
  • Experience the unique and breathtaking landscapes of the historic Kawarau Gorge
Duration
  • 3 hours with 1.5 hours ride time
Departure Location
  • This experience departs from the Off Road shop, located at 61a Shotover Street, Queenstown
Additional Information
  • Minimum age: 16 years for Let's Ride and 14 years for Learn to Ride
  • Maximum group size of 10 participants
  • No licence needed for the Let's Ride tour, but you must be an experienced motorcycle rider
  • Please wear long pants and socks
  • Bring along water, snacks, and sunglasses
  • Remember to pack your camera
  • Available from October to April, weather permitting
