What you can expect

Join a local Aboriginal guide and embark on an authentic cultural day tour in Port Douglas and the Daintree Rainforest. The full-day Julaymba Tour explores the region south of the Daintree River and Mossman Gorge. Guests will take a gentle walk along the coastline with spears to learn traditional hunting techniques, boomerang and spear throwing.

You’ll also visit the Mossman Gorge and the Daintree Rainforest to learn how Indigenous tribes lived off the land at one with nature using plants as food and medicines. The insightful full-day tours from Port Douglas combines the diverse coastal and rainforest ecosystems of North Queensland with the cultural knowledge of your local Indigenous guide plus you’ll get to enjoy a tasty lunch too.

  • Each tour is operated with a minimum of 2 passengers and a maximum of 11 passengers

  • Explores the region further north, crossing the Daintree River by ferry and reaching Cape Tribulation – renowned as “where the rainforest meets the reef”, stopping for guided walks and a swim in a freshwater creek. __CULTURAL TOURS__
  • Explores the region from Daintree Village south, primarily around Mossman, including Mossman Gorge or a freshwater stream and Cooya Beach or other coastal environment. Tour includes a walk along the coastline with spears and learning the traditional hunting techniques.
Cancellation Policy

  • Any bookings cancelled four (4) days of booking date, will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
  • Any bookings cancelled within two (2) day of booking date, and including any no shows will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
  • __Private Charter:__
  • Any bookings cancelled within seven (7) days of booking date, will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
  • Any bookings cancelled within four (4) days of booking date, and including any no shows will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
  • No refund can be given for any unused services or early departures.
  • All bookings made by an agent must be cancelled by your booking agent.
  • An administration fee may apply to cancellations.
