What you can expect

Discover the heritage precinct of Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse and climb the 59 stairs for breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean and Geographe Bay. Included in your admission to the lighthouse is a 30 minute guided tour where you’ll hear the stories of hardship for the lighthouse keepers who lived on-site from 1903 to 1996.

The beautifully landscaped playgrounds, lawns and observation deck provide a beautiful backdrop to sit and admire the scenery before or after your tour of the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse. Unearth the fascinating history behind this Western Australian landmark and gain a captivating insight into a working lighthouse. The Cape Naturalist Lighthouse tour is a suitable activity for all ages and is open to the public daily between 9am and 5pm.

  • A camera (no tripods, camera stands or selfie-sticks)
  • Bring hats and sunscreen in summer, waterproof jackets in winter
Additional Information
  • Enclosed footwear suitable for climbing stairs is recommended
  • Photography permitted but no tripods, camera stands or selfie-sticks
  • Arrival at the ticket counter 10 minutes prior to tour time is required. During busy holiday periods your place on the tour may be reallocated if you have not checked in 5 minutes prior to tour departure
  • Child age is 4-16 yrs. Children under 4 years old are not permitted on the tour
Cancellation Policy
  • A full refund will be provided for cancellations received by close of business (5pm WST) on the day prior to the tour booking
  • In the event of ‘no shows’, or cancellations later than close of business (5pm WST) on the day prior to the booking, the operator may charge the full cost of the booked tour
