Enjoy a peaceful 3 hour experience on Kaikoura's pristine waters where you get to enjoy an abundance of marine life in the majestic landscape of one of New Zealand's most spectacular regions!
This experience departs at 8:30am, 12:30pm or 4:30pm

The duration of this experience is 3 hours
You will have approximately 90 - 120 minutes spent on the water, including about 30 minutes interacting with the fur seals

What To Bring
A hat, sunglasses, long sleeve thermal top, board shorts or quick dry long pants, water friendly sandals or trainers are recommended
Additional Information
Sea kayaking may be cancelled due to wind and sea conditions. This is however, somewhat dependant on the experience level of the participant. In the case of poor weather, we will reschedule your experience for a later date
You will need to sign a customer declaration prior to participating in the experience. All kayakers will be provided with the necessary equipment
We can accommodate almost anyone. You dont need any paddling experience for our tour as your guide will demonstrate the various paddling techniques used - it is quickly and easily learnt and gives you a very rewarding outcome. Non-swimmers are welcome. Open to all ages, familys most welcome

I agree that by participating in this activity I accept there are inherent risks and hazards associated with participating in sea kayaking and I understand what these risks are (including serious harm and death).
Understanding the risks:
The staff and management of Kaikoura Kayaks take all practicable steps to identify and minimize potential dangers.
The risks and hazards include, but are not limited to property damage, personal injury, illness because of adverse weather conditions, risk of drowning or death, sunburn, dehydration, hyperthermia & exhaustion, rolling or capsizing or flipping kayaks and Sups, hitting obstacles, (such as rocks or other watercraft) or being hit by other watercraft and equipment failure.
Cancellation Policy
Clients who cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled tour are not eligible for any refund.
Refunds are processed on a case-by-case basis and for genuine reasons only, e.g. If a booking is made initially through Kaikoura Kayaks website, then cancelled and subsequently rebooked through another website the original booking will stand and therefore can’t be refunded.
Kaikoura Kayaks reserves the right to cancel trips due to weather and sea conditions. Where Kaikoura Kayaks cancels a trip prior to departure, a full refund is available. Where a trip has commenced and is subsequently canceled, participants shall receive a 70% refund.
