What you can expect
Experience getting up close and personal with an African Lion. You'll meet and feed the resident lion at the zoo while learning all about this amazing species from your guide and zookeeper. Take home a printed photograph of your encounter or upgrade, for a fee, to a professional photo pack on the day. Afterwards, enjoy exploring the rest of the zoo and its amazing creatures with general admission included. This encounter is sure to be one you'll remember for a lifetime. After all, it's not every day you get to feed one of the largest predators in the world.

- Take home a 6 x 9 print photograph as well as a digital print
- General admission to Hunter Valley Wildlife Park
- Personal encounter with the resident Lion
- The park is open between the hours of 9 am to 4 pm daily
- Please allow two hours to see all of the exotic and Australian animals

- Notify admissions at least 30 minutes before your start time for check-in and meeting instructions.
- Long pants are recommended
- Fully enclosed flat shoes are required
- Participants must be 16 years or older
- There is a maximum of two people per encounter
- Hunter Valley Wildlife Park may choose to cancel specific encounters due to sudden changes in weather conditions or animal welfare at any time, guests will be notified and dates re-scheduled.
- Vouchers are valid for one use before the expiry date printed on the ticket.
- Vouchers are non-refundable or transferable.
- Please print your tickets to present on entry to the wildlife park or alternatively display your voucher on your electronic device.
- Entry will not be permitted without displaying your voucher as proof of purchase.
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
