Wander through the illuminated trails of native Australian bushland, where breathtaking projections and a captivating soundscape transport you to the cosmos. Whether you’re exploring with family, friends, or that special someone, this immersive multi sensory adventure will ignite your sense of wonder.
Beyond the magic, your visit supports wildlife conservation and the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital, helping to protect and care for Australia’s precious native species. Open from Wednesday to Saturday in the evenings, this is the perfect night time activity for all ages. Witness the stars come to life and become part of the story at Astra Lumina.

- Entry to the Astra Lumina Night Walk
- Astra Lumina Night Walk is a ticketed event that takes place in the evenings at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Entry to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary during the day is NOT included and general admission tickets to Currumbin Sanctuary must be purchased separately.
- Open Wednesday through Saturday inclusive (not open Xmas Day & Anzac Day) from 6pm to 9pm.
- This is a self paced experience. Allow between 1 - 1.5 hours to complete the experience.
- Please arrive 15 minutes before experience.
- This experience is located in 28 Tomewin Street, Currumbin QLD.
- The experience is a nighttime outdoor, audio-visual event featuring dynamic lighting, music, and the use of artificial smoke and fog effects.
- The trail is sloping in places and is comprised of sealed and unsealed surfaces. Due to inclines across the trail, Astra Lumina is not recommended for people using a wheelchair.
- Weather Considerations:
- The experience operates in all weather conditions, including rain. Severe or dangerous weather, such as lightning, may result in the experience being paused or cancelled for safety.
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no-shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience

New Astra Lumina is a great experience on the Southern Gold Coast.
Astra Lumina was a great night out! Walking through the trees surrounded by beautiful lights made for a peaceful and relaxing experience. The whole setup was immersive, with soft music and a gentle atmosphere that made it easy to enjoy the moment.
