What you can expect

Emerson’s was first brewed in August of 1985, producing a meagre four and a half liters on a stove in a kitchen by a young, excitable Richard Emerson. Having visited England two years prior, Richard found a love of good English beer and while comparing it to the New Zealand standard he felt compelled to try brew his own and make a name for himself. Since that moment Emerson’s has grown to one of New Zealand’s biggest craft breweries, producing millions of liters of beer every year and shipping it to every corner of the country and even as we continue to grow so does Richard’s uncompromised passion and love for great beer.
