Discover one of the Top End’s most beautiful attractions near Katherine, Nitmiluk National Park on this day tour from Darwin. Spanning over 292,000 hectares, the amazing Nitmiluk National Park features the Katherine Gorge (Nitmiluk) and Edith Falls (Leliyn).

Heading out of Darwin you’ll be collected from your hotel and travel along the famous Stuart Highway through the townships of Adelaide River and Pine Creek towards Katherine. Take in the unlimited flora and fauna as your guide provides you with historical and cultural commentary throughout your journey.

Arriving in Nitmiluk, you’ll embark on a two hour NitNit dreaming Katherine Gorge boat tour cruising past rugged, towering cliffs. Learn about the authentic culture and stories of the traditional owners of the land, the Jawoyn people of Katherine as you are guided through this wonderful area. Following the Katherine Gorge Cruise, disembark and head to Edith Falls for a refreshing dip in the huge, natural plunge pools.

  • This itinerary schedule is interchangeable during seasonal weather fluctuations or during park closures due to traditional land owner ceremonies
  • Child fare prices apply from 0 to 12 years old. Infants aged 0 to 4 can travel on an adult's lap for the duration of the tour. A ​paid ticket is required for the infant, even though they're sitting on a lap.
  • This terrain is not suitable for mobility impaired travellers, wheelchairs, walkers, prams or strollers

Cancellation Policy
  • Cancellation by the Traveller: (a) 0 to 1 day / within 24-hrs from the experience start time or failure to board on tour: ● will result in a 100% cancellation fee / full fare forfeiture of the ticket price and not eligible for a refund; or (b) 2+ days prior to the departure: ● we will refund the full balance paid by you in connection with your booking; or ● flexible date changes – unlimited supply of free date changes available; or ● alternatively, we can issue a credit voucher for the amount paid to travel on another day Cancellation by the Operator: Our trips are guaranteed to depart once minimum group sizes have been met for the tour, unless it specifically states otherwise or in the event of a Force Majeure resulting in the cancellation of a trip.
