What you can expect

Departing Cairns at 11.15 am we head south to our first stop the beautiful Babinda Boulders. Enjoy these surroundings while swimming in the fresh mountain water, a guided nature walk and learning the indigenous cultural significance of the area.

Scenic drive through the Cassowary Coast, passing local banana and sugar cane plantations, drive through the art deco town of Innisfail, arriving at Etty Bay in the afternoon. Coffee, tea, a light snack, and a chance to see a Cassowary roaming free where the rainforest meets the beach.

Continuing to Paronella Park for the 30-minute guided afternoon tour learning the dream and story of Jose Paronella, followed by leisurely time to self-explore. Enjoy early dinner at Mena Creek Hotel with your guide before joining the evening tour and the spectacular orchestral light show under the stars.

Cancellation Policy
  • For cancellations made to an Exclusive Private Tour or A small group tour, the following cancellation fees will apply:
  • Cancellations received more than 30 days before the booked tour date – 20% Administration fee applicable and the balance refunded.
  • Cancellations received up to and less than 7 days but more than 48 hours before the booked tour date – 50% fee applicable and the balance refunded.
  • Cancellations received less than 48 hours or for non-appearance to commence the tour – all monies will be forfeited
