Cape Tribulation is where the world’s oldest continually surviving tropical rainforests, meet the world’s greatest living tropical reef, the Great Barrier Reef.
Nowhere else on earth do two natural World Heritage listed sites exist side by side. Such is the natural beauty and precious value of this truly stunning piece of paradise, that you will have ample time to explore and enjoy on this full day tour.

- Due to Cyclone Jasper, access to the road leading to Cape Tribulation has been restricted. Our tour includes all activities except for the final 10 kilometres of the journey to Cape Tribulation Village

- Return transfers from Cairns, Northern Beaches and Port Douglas
- Friendly and knowledgeable guides
- Swimming at Mossman Gorge
- Welcome to Country ceremony
- Guided tour of Marrdja Botanical a Rainforest Boardwalk
- Scenic Lookout
- Tropical ice creamery visit (ice cream available for purchase)
- Daintree River (ferry crossing)
- Wildlife river cruise
- Lunch
- Breakfast (own cost)
- Cairns accommodation pickups commence
- Pick up from Northern Beaches Travel north along the Cook Highway
- Stop at the Rex Lookout for a photo opportunity (time permitting)
- Travel north to Mossman via Port Douglas (subject to Port Douglas pick-ups)
- Arrive at Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre, meet with Traditional Owners and experience a “Welcome to Country” and smoke ceremony.
- Transfer to the gorge for a guided rainforest walks and optional swim (weather permitting)
- Depart for scenic drive to Daintree Village
- Arrive at Daintree Village Hotel for a delicious lunch
- After lunch we embark on a Wildlife and Crocodile Spotting Cruise on the Daintree River
- Head north to Thornton's Beach & Daintree Ice Cream Co
- Next, we turn around and head south on a scenic drive via Port Douglas. Photo opportunity in Port Douglas. (Time permitting) Return to Northern Beaches & Return to Cairns
- PLEASE NOTE THIS ITINERARY IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE DUE TO WEATHER & ROAD CONDITIONS
- Tours depart Cairns at approximately 7.30am and Port Douglas at approximately 9am and return at approximately 6pm (Port Douglas) and 7pm (Cairns)
- Swimmers and towel

- Cash or a card: Lunch is included in the Tour, however, there are extra at your own expense food stops along the way such as Breakfast and ice cream
- Child rate is 2-11 years old - children under 2 years old travel for free and must sit on the parent's lap for the duration of the bus transfer and no meal is included
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience

Esther was the best guide! Lots of interesting info and friendly. Loved the day and trip from Cairns. Cape Tribulation was spectacular and Mossman Gorge was simply stunning. Tasted like a green ant! Ice cream was delicious!! Aboriginal smoke ceremony and welcome is not to be missed. Thank you to our indigenous guide 'Running Water'.

Had a good day out and enjoyed the river cruise at Daintree. The smoke ceremony.
Enjoyed the day but Stephanie our tour guide was unorganised in a few instances such as we only gave 20 minutes at Mossman Gorge. Wasn’t enough time for a swim as she said we were running late. She didn’t explain things on the tour and couldn’t hear her at times on the bus as she wasn’t using the microphone. At the end of the evening, she didn’t know all the hotels for the drop-off and we were driven around the block a few times. Maybe she needs a bit more training as she doesn’t really speak clearly compared to other tour guides and tours I have been on. Other than that we had an enjoyable day.

With this tour you can feel the real aussie wilderness and meet a lot of wild animals
Loved this tour! In 1 day you can experience the real wilderness of the rainforest. Our guide Carlos was very experienced and talked about so many interesting things about Australia, wild animals, plants and fun facts. We saw snakes, spiders, monitor lizard and a glimpse of a crocodile at the end!
