Join us on an adventure with the Dolphins Kayaking Byron Bay.... Take in some of the best sights the East Coast has to offer. Learn about local history, aboriginal history, the lighthouse, dolphins and whales. See the most Easterly Point of the Australian mainland. See and learn these things and more while you paddle in your kayak around the famous Byron Bay marine reserve.
Enjoy paddling your kayak out through the surf and later ride some of Australia's most famous waves. Get up close and personal with our friendly Bottlenose Dolphins and discover how inquisitive they can be. Spot Sea Turtles as they come up for a breath of air. Marvel at the size of the majestic Humpback Whales as they migrate through beautiful Byron Bay. Every tour finishes with ALL you can eat Tim Tams on the beach. Allow 2.5hrs for this experience.

- This is a tour in the open ocean and even if I/we cannot swim are confident in the open water. This tour is not recommended for non-swimming adults. Non swimming adults who book and cannot complete the tour are not entitled to a refund
- Has a reasonable level of fitness and ability to paddle my/our own kayak
- Inability to paddle my own kayak in moderate conditions is not a reason for a refund
- This tour will proceed in the rain. Customers who cancel less then 24hrs prior to a tour due to rainy conditions are not entitled to a refund or free swap. Choosing to opt out of a tour due to rain does not warrant a refund
- Cancellations or changes to a booking within 24 hours of tour start time are not allowed and non-refundable. No exceptions
- If the tour does not see dolphins or whales (during whale season), I am entitled to a free return tour but I am not entitled to any refund. Free return tours are non-transferable
- FITNESS TO PARTICIPATE & NON SWIMMERS -NO REFUND - Please note that for safety reasons, all participants aged 16 and over must be capable of swimming 25 meters unassisted. This requirement ensures a secure and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. If a participant books and the guides from Cape Byron Kayaks observe that they are unable to swim, they will be escorted back to shore for safety reasons and NO REFUND will be provided. All participants 16 and over MUST have swimming ability despite being provided with a PFD. It is preferred that children have swimming ability and/or are confident within a marine environment. The tour is in the open ocean so you must be confident in the open water. - Must have a reasonable level of fitness and ability to paddle your own kayak. Passengers with back, neck, shoulder, hip or heart conditions, or those who are pregnant or who have injuries/conditions that may cause a risk to their health participate at their own risk. Our tours involve paddling within exposed marine surroundings i.e.: possible wind, currents etc. Cape Byron Kayaks endeavours to provide a safe experience, as easy going as possible however, all participants must acknowledge this BEFORE PROCEEDING and be confident of their fitness levels and adventurous nature before deciding to participate. Should Cape Byron Kayaks guides observe that you are not fit to participate and pose a risk to yourself, other participants or staff you will be escorted back to shore for safety reasons and NO REFUND will be provided. - Tours do proceed in the rain - All tour departures are subject to weather and surf conditions.
- Cancellations received later than 24hrs in advance will be charged at the full rate.
- No Shows will be charged at the full rate.
- It is highly recommended to reconfirm your tour time at least 48 hours prior to the date of the activity
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on the day of the activity. Vouchers presented on a mobile device are also accepted
- For your information, complete Tour Operator Information including contact details are included on your tour voucher
- Availability was accurate at the time of booking, however, is subject to change due to circumstances out of our control. We strongly suggest reconfirming your booking with the tour operator within 24 hours of making your booking and prior to making other travel arrangements

Extraordinary morning at sea with dolphins and turtles!
To say this was a magical experience would be an understatement. We were able to have close-up encounters with dolphins (who were not shy and decided to put on a show) and turtles. As someone who travels alone most of the time, it was also a great way to meet like-minded people and spend a morning full of laughter and smiles! 100% an experience I will never forget!
