Renowned as an Arakwal elder in Byron Shire, Delta's deep-rooted knowledge and traditions have been passed down through her ancestors who have inhabited the Byron Bay area for millennia. She preserves and shares Arakwal customs, ceremonies, and stories with passion.

Mindy Woods, a proud Bundjalung woman from the Widjabul Wia-bul clan, has realized her dream with her venue in Byron Bay, ‘Karkalla’. This establishment highlights seasonal local produce and native Indigenous ingredients, celebrating Mindy’s Bundjalung heritage and offering a unique cultural experience.
