What you can expect

Take a trip from Broome to Beagle Bay and learn about the natural boundaries and language groups of the country. On arrival to Nyul Nyul country your local, well-renowned Aboriginal guide will welcome you to the country and share his family history and their connection to Beagle Bay and involvement in building the mission. Along your tour visit the Sacred Heart Church, with its beautiful pearl shell-encrusted altar. Learn about the Aboriginal shell carvers who created these intricate pearl shell artworks and mosaic floors. Then, explore the old lemon factory, and surrounding freshwater springs and get a crash course in all things local bush food and medicine plants.

  • Tours are suitable for children of all ages. Children under the age of seven years are free of charge, however must be notified at the time of booking
  • A child aged less than one year can be held on the lap of a parent or caregiver aged sixteen years or over while travelling in the bus
  • All children must be restrained in the seatbelts that are properly adjusted and securely fastened to the best extend possible while travelling in the bus
  • Children must be fully supervised by an accompanying adult at all times
  • While every precaution will be taken for the safety of participants, no liability can be taken in the event of death accident injury loss or damage to person and property on these tours
