What you can expect

Embark on a Journey Through Time with the Story Bridge Indigenous Climb and Boomerang Painting Experience!

This one-of-a-kind adventure offers much more than a thrilling bridge climb—it’s an opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich history, culture, and stories of Australia’s First Nations people. Perfect for families, friends, or anyone seeking a deeper connection to country, this experience combines breathtaking views, cultural insights, and hands-on creativity.

Your journey begins with an exhilarating climb to the summit of the iconic Story Bridge, where an expert Indigenous guide will share the stories of the land, its people, and the enduring connection they have to this sacred place. Each step unveils a deeper understanding of Brisbane’s cultural landscape, culminating in a 360-degree panoramic view from the top. From this vantage point, you’ll not only admire the stunning cityscape but also reflect on the vibrant past, dynamic present, and promising future of the region.

After descending, the adventure continues with a feast for your taste buds. Enjoy a delicious bush tucker platter, featuring traditional meats like crocodile and kangaroo seasoned with native herbs and spices. Served with crackers and dips that blend classic and contemporary flavors, this culinary treat is a celebration of Australia’s natural bounty.

The day concludes with a hands-on Boomerang Painting Workshop, a creative and culturally enriching activity designed to deepen your connection to Aboriginal heritage. Guided by Indigenous artists, you’ll learn the significance of traditional symbols and techniques while creating your very own painted boomerang to take home—a meaningful keepsake of your journey.
