What you can expect

Departing Port Adelaide, you’ll set sail for an adventure on the water you’ll never forget! Get involved in setting the sails, helm at the wheel with the Captain, climb into the bow nets or sit back, relax and soak up the atmosphere. As you travel down the Port River, discover the variety of vessels and businesses in the maritime industry. You’ll catch a glimpse back to the history of the quarantine station and wetlands. Watch out for dolphins residing in the only metropolitan dolphin sanctuary. Throughout your sailing day, you’ll be treated to morning tea, a lunch box and afternoon tea, as well as chilled soft drinks, water and coffee. Enjoy the open waters of the Gulf on this full-day sailing adventure, sharing the moments with your family or friends!

  • Please arrive 45 minutes before the scheduled departure time
What To Bring
  • Suitable clothing for the day, windproof jacket and hat
  • Please wear sensible footwear, preferably flat-soled closed shoes, Stilettos and sharp-heeled shoes are strictly prohibited

  • Smoking/ e-cigarettes strictly prohibited on board
  • No alcohol can be brought or consumed on the ship
  • Please advise of any medical conditions or food allergies at the time of booking
  • Access to the ship is via gangway and ladder. The ship is traditional built so lifts, ramps or disabled access are not available
  • Foot coamings must be negotiated to enter the saloon and ladder to lower areas for bathrooms
  • Minimum age to sail on ship 6 years. Children under 18 years must be accompanied by an Adult
  • Vertical rigging climbing min age 15 years; Bow net climbing min age 6 years. All climbing activities are subject to weather conditions, fit of safety harness, and/or directive of the Captain.

  • Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
  • Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
  • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
