What you can expect
Looking for a picnic experience that ups the grazing game and puts the wow factor into alfresco dining? Look no further than our Hamper in the Hills experience. Our Hamper in the Hills experience is a self guided out of the box picnic experience for those looking to enjoy a day of food and wine whilst immersed in our award winning estate gardens. On arrival at our Western Branch Vineyard, you collect one of our bespoke wooden hampers at our cellar door, find a shady spot to relax on our lawns, and enjoy a delicious spread of regional fare paired with a bottle of our Market Series wines. Everything will be at your fingertips in our purpose made Hamper box, all you have to do is unbox, spread out and graze the day away. So whether it is a catch up with friends or an intimate setting for two, picnicking in the Hills has never looked or tasted so good!

What you need to know
- Our Hampers contain everything you need for a day out on our lawns.
- 1 large grazing box filled with local cured meats and cheeses, house made pickled vegetables, relish and dip, freshly made focaccia bread, crackers, fruit.
- 1 bottle of 'Market Series' wine of your choice
- A 2m x 2m decorative Kollab picnic mat to spread out on
- 2 wine glasses, cutlery, small plates, napkins, water bottle and water glasses
- A pack of playing cards, sunscreen, bug spray
- Available from 11:30am 7 days a week.
- 24 hours notice is required when booking.
- Not available on Public Holidays.
- Available from September to April, inclusive.
- Picnic duration is 1-3 hours

- Dress Code - Casual dress. Please dress for the local weather conditions.
- Our Hampers serve 2 people. Multiple Hampers can be purchased for larger groups to a maximum of 8.
- Weather - The Hamper in the Hills experience is an outdoor experience, and in the case of inclement or extreme weather, guests will be contacted on the day prior to their booking and given the opportunity to cancel or postpone.
- Wheelchair accessible. Experience can be modified to be served at a table if preferred by guests.
- Additional food items and beverages can be purchased on the day. Alternative seating arrangements can be arranged. Please let us know at the time of booking if you would prefer chairs.
- As alcohol is served all guests must be over the age of 18 years. Proof of age in the form of photo identification may be requested on the day.
- Food allergies can be catered for – please let us know when making your booking. We cannot offer dietary preference Hampers (eg vegetarian or vegan).
- We are happy to reschedule your booking to another date if contacted with 24 hours notice.
- No charge for participant changes if booked on a valid voucher.
- Once booking is confirmed, we require 24 hours notice to cancel your Hamper experience.
- Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience.
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience.
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at the time of booking.
- Upon completion of the purchase, please print the voucher and present it on the day of the experience.
- Mobile Vouchers are accepted! Vouchers can also be presented on your mobile device for this attraction.
- For your information, complete Tour Operator information, including contact details, is included on your tour voucher.
- Availability was accurate at the time of booking. However, it is subject to change due to circumstances out of our control.
- We strongly suggest reconfirming your booking with the tour operator within 24 hours of making your booking and prior to making other travel arrangements.
